spring 2018

The Under Armour Design Future Showcase is a yearly design competition challenging  students from around the country to create and present their innovative concepts in apparel and footwear.

Selected in 2018 as an apparel finalist, and mentored by UA designers over the course of 3 weeks, a final presentation event was held at UA HQ in Baltimore in March 2018, where the 3 footwear and 3 apparel finalists presented their designs.

The theme of 2018’s DFS was centered around running innovation; I chose to focus on functional improvements, garment patterning, and material innovations that could help athletes and runners who run with prosthetics. This project culminated in an all-gender capsule collection of training gear for various weather conditions that could be modified for any athletes body, with a main focus to help and not hinder their training and to adapt with their prosthetic or any specific needs.
