Nike On Air (2018) was a competition held to challenge creatives from 6 cities to design a shoe inspired by their home city and community. 3 Finalists were voted on from each city, and the 6 final winners were flown to Nike WHQ in Portland to see an initial prototype of their design. Design revisions were then made, with the final shoe released on Air Max Day 2019.
